Last weekend’s Open House had a good number of visitors. However, I heard from so many disappointed they couldn’t make it.

Therefore, we have extended the Open House through this weekend. The hours are on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sunday afternoon from 2-5. And again I can be available for private showings as needed.

Some people came to get a feeling for the type of work I do that they had not yet seen. It makes a huge difference in seeing something physically with all the depth and richness of colors, texture and the whole presentation of the frame and a house setting to view it in.

Getting a handle on the various sizes of art and figuring out what might fit best in certain places in your home or office is another consideration. When you see a large painting hanging on a wall versus a small photo of it online, you can really see the potential impact it can have in your own home.

I was so pleased with the reactions of everyone who visited! They were most encouraging! Since I had things on sale with ranges from $1 for individual cards to tens to hundreds or thousands for original larger oil paintings, there was something for everyone’s budget. Just about everyone went home with some form of my art. That spoke volumes to me!

It is so gratifying to an artist’s soul to see her work treasured and appreciated with fans willing to not just give a compliment but actually put their money where their mouth is, as it makes sense to do so. I want to thank each and every one who came out, called, made appointments, purchased some form of my art, and/or encouraged me to continue painting, playing with colors and sharing my creativity.

I look forward to continuing to share my art journey with you. And I’d love to see you this weekend if you haven’t yet had a chance to drop by!

Oh! BTW I even have some silhouette cut-outs, clay and fused glass items, and some “Abstractions” on display for sale as well.

Here’s a link to the flyer if you’d like to download or print it out.
